Lanxi and Shanghai Textile Group signed a strategic agreement to enter the fashion textile industry

On June 9th, an uplifting news came from the banks of the Huangpu River. The Lanxi Municipal Government and the textile industry "Da Niu" Shanghai Textile (Group) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on textile development. Both parties will operate in fabrics, foreign trade, Comprehensive, in-depth and close strategic cooperation in technology research and development, fashion education and training.

The day before, the deputy secretary of the Lanxi Municipal Party Committee and the mayor Cai Yan was in charge, leading the leaders of more than 30 textile enterprises in Lanxi to go to Shanghai to dock. This high-profile, strong lineup of industry docking is still the first time in Lanxi history.

Fashion crocodile

On June 9th, the Shanghai International Fashion Center on the Huangpu River was opened to business. 18 Lanxi textile enterprises entered the fashion center show with high-quality products such as fabrics and ready-made garments produced by the company. Shanghai Textile Group sent more than 70 managers to dock.

Zhu Yong said that the Shanghai Textile Group started its manufacturing industry. In the past two years, the proportion of manufacturing has risen from 12% to 30%. He called it the "return" of the textile manufacturing industry. "We are very different from Lanxi's manufacturing industry. We have trade and product manufacturing, but we don't have fabrics."

Pain point in textile city

Reform and opening up, Lanxi towel production and export volume ranking first in the province's double. Today, one-third of Lanxi's industrial output value comes from the textile industry, with more than 1,600 textile companies and about 60,000 employees. The output of pure cotton white fabric is 1.8 billion meters, the first in the country; the towel is 600 million, ranking second in the country; the cowboy export is nearly 400 million meters, accounting for one-seventh of the country, involving 49 countries along the “ Belt and Road ”.

Strong marriage

On the morning of June 9, the strategic cooperation agreement between Lanxi Municipal Government and Shanghai Textile Group was officially signed.

According to the strategic agreement, Shanghai Textile Group will give full play to its advantages in international trade, and purchase Lanxi outstanding enterprise fabric products according to market demand, and promote the integration of advantageous resources. At the same time, the use of textile technology product research and development, design talents , industry information and other advantages to enhance the R & D design level and product grade of Lanxi enterprises.

The Lanxi Municipal Government will create conditions to attract foreign trade companies affiliated to the Textile Group to set up subsidiaries in Lanxi, making Lanxi an important fabric production and processing base and foreign trade park of the Textile Group. The two sides will also cooperate in fashion education and training to promote high-quality fashion resources in Lanxi.
