* Labor Intensive:Â The look and feel of an cashmere kniting depends extensively on the processing of the wool. It takes a lot of hard work from sheering the goats to seperating and sorting each hair strands individually by hand. One piece of regular sweater needs one-year cashmere production of 5 goats.
* High Demand:Â Cashmere is extremely warm, light, soft, breathable and it has been in high demand ever since it was first discovered thousand of years ago. Today it's bought by designers and clothes manufacturers to make premium high quality winter wear. So anything made by cashmere becomes expensive.
* Season Limit:Â Cashmere goats only sheered during their molting season in spring which limit the obtain.
2. How to grade the cashmere fiber?
The longer and thinner fiber is better. Normally top class fiber have the smallest diameter, ranging from 14.5 to 15.5 microns, and the longest length normally from 34 to 36mm.
3. Can we use other material to reduce the cost?
Sure, we can offer different yarns to meet your market like 10%cashmere 90%wool, 30%cashmere 70%wool, 50%cashmere 50%wool, 100%cashmere, cashmere&silk blending, silk&cotton, silk&cashmere blending etc.Â
4. Notes:
Due to the individual different measure way and cashmere knitting' good elasticity, size error below 1-3cm is allowed for in-stock clothes.
